Karakun exists because we believe that good software empowers people – instead of holding them back. Since 2018, we have been developing custom software that simplify work, improve processes and ensure user satisfaction. Our teams bring together many years of combined experience in software engineering, IT consulting and research.

Stay up to date with technology and community
At Karakun, we heavily rely on open source software in our daily business. Since we strongly believe in open source, we actively contribute to many of these technologies. To always be up-to-date, we attend leading software engineering conferences like JavaLand, Devoxx, Jfokus or JCON. Plus, we organize internal Code Camps and sponsor meetups like Hackergarten or JUGs. And last but not least, we are co-organizers of BaselOne - a 2-day software development event in the heart of Basel (Switzerland).
